Inauguration of a Typewriting Centre and Library for Competitive Exam Aspirants

A typewriting skill development centre and library for competitive exam aspirants were inaugurated at Loyola College, Vettavalam, on 28 September 2024, through the CSR initiative of ZF-Hero Chassis Systems. The facility provides resources to enhance students’ typing skills and access to study materials, empowering them for competitive exams and employment opportunities. 

The event was graced by the presence of  Mr G. Chandramouli, Plant Head, Dr M. Irudhayaraj Head of HR, Mr K Gopinath HR, Mr R. Raman CFO, Mr VR. Ravichandran, Marketing of ZF-Hero Chassis system and Fr. Mariyanathan SJ, Superior, Fr. Ignacy Arockiam SJ, Secretary, Fr. Basil Xavier SJ, principal of Loyola College Vettavalam. The gathering was addressed by Fr. Vasanth SJ, Province Development Director of Jesuit Chennai Province. He was elated and happy for this fruitful collaboration and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering equitable education with essential tools for success. 

This centre reflects a commitment to building a brighter future for all through skill enhancement and knowledge access.

This project aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education), which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable education, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), focusing on skill development for productive employment, and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by creating opportunities for marginalized communities.
