Social Watch – TN Creative Writing Workshop at Loyola College, Mettala

A two-day Creative Writing Workshop was held on December 13 and 14, 2024, at Loyola College, Mettala, Salem. Organized by Social Watch-Tamil Nadu (SW-TN) and the Department of Tamil, the workshop aimed to develop the creative writing skills of students. Around 70 students participated enthusiastically in various activities, including passage formation, creative story writing, and poetry exercises.

Dr. S. Muthukandhan, Assistant Professor from Madras Christian College, guided the sessions, inspiring students to express their thoughts creatively. The second day included student presentations, a talk by Fr. Irudayaraj on poetry, and a guest lecture by film director and writer Mr. C. Azhagappan, who shared his writing journey and practical tips.

The event concluded with certificate distribution, leaving students motivated and confident in their writing abilities.
