Skill Development

Our Skill Development Programs are dedicated to creating better employment opportunities for underprivileged youth by addressing significant barriers such as a lack of relevant skills and a mismatch between the labour market’s supply and demand. These challenges often result in poor employability and lower wages. We recognize that skill development is essential for the social and economic integration of disadvantaged communities by breaking the cycle of low education and limited job prospects among rural populations.

To tackle this, the Chennai Province provides industry-oriented training programs that equip individuals with practical and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to become self-reliant and pursue meaningful careers. We offer diploma courses in various trades, including Carpentry, Computer Applications, Electrical Maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welding, Driving, and Four-Wheeler Mechanisms for men. For women, we provide training in Tailoring, Computer Applications, and small industry skills. Our comprehensive approach empowers youth from marginalized groups, such as poor Dalit, Tribal, and rural communities, to improve productivity, explore self-employment, and enhance their quality of life.
