Our Skill Development Programs are dedicated to creating better employment opportunities for underprivileged youth by addressing significant barriers such as a lack of relevant skills and a mismatch between the labour market’s supply and demand. These challenges often result in poor employability and lower wages. We recognize that skill development is essential for the social and economic integration of disadvantaged communities by breaking the cycle of low education and limited job prospects among rural populations. To tackle this, the Chennai Province provides industry-oriented training programs that equip individuals with practical and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to become self-reliant and pursue meaningful careers.
We offer a diverse range of diploma courses tailored to equip individuals with essential skills across various trades. For men, our curriculum includes specialized programs in Carpentry, Computer Applications, Electrical Maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welding, Driving, and Four-Wheeler Mechanisms. These courses are designed to provide hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for the workforce.
For women, we focus on empowering them with skills through training in Tailoring, Computer Applications, and various competencies related to small industries. Our programs aim to foster independence and creativity, enabling women to pursue entrepreneurial ventures or enhance their employability in growing sectors.
Our comprehensive approach is particularly aimed at youth from marginalized communities, including economically disadvantaged Dalit, Tribal, and rural groups. By providing access to these educational opportunities, we strive to boost productivity, facilitate self-employment, and improve the overall quality of life for these individuals.
