Skill Development

The Chennai Province provides industry-oriented training programs that equip individuals with practical and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to become self-reliant and pursue meaningful careers. We offer diploma courses in various trades, including Carpentry, Computer Applications, Electrical Maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Welding, Driving, and Four-Wheeler Mechanisms for men. For women, we provide training in Tailoring, Computer Applications, and small industry skills. Our comprehensive approach empowers youth from marginalized groups, such as poor Dalit, Tribal, and rural communities, to improve productivity, explore self-employment, and enhance their quality of life.  To uproot this curse from the lives of poor people, Chennai Province through its social action centre provides “Free of Cost” skills development programs for poor and needy people. Creating awareness through cultural troupes and capacitating through training programs. These are specifically drafted to upskill the downtrodden people. One such initiative is our move slowly and steadily towards self-reliance, self-governance, and self-respect. Empowering Life skills and leadership training are embedded in all the courses to improve the quality of life across 15 civil districts.
