Tribal Welfare
We are dedicated to empowering marginalized tribal communities through sustainable livelihoods and holistic development initiatives. With two specialized social action centres our work transforms lives across Northern Tamil Nadu.
- PARAN CENTRE (Pedagogy and Rights of Adivasis in North Tamil Nadu)
- PALAVAI CENTRE (Pedagogy and Action for Livelihood Availing Entitlements, Village Leadership, and Advocacy for Irulars)
Our comprehensive approach encompasses healthcare, education, vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and microfinance initiatives to promote sustainability and self-reliance. We focus on improving access to government entitlements, enhancing community infrastructure, and implementing water and sanitation projects to elevate living standards.
Recognizing the barriers faced by first-generation learners, we provide high-quality education through Evening Study Centres, financial aid for higher education, and Residential Learning Programs. These initiatives not only foster academic success but also nurture personal growth and confidence among students.
To empower tribal women, we facilitate the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), offering leadership and entrepreneurship training that helps them achieve financial independence. For tribal youth, our employability skills training programs improve job readiness, while awareness initiatives address critical issues such as health, nutrition, and environmental sustainability.
Our mission is to create self-reliant, dignified communities by fostering long-term social and economic transformation. By equipping individuals with the tools they need to succeed, we aim to build a future where every tribal community thrives with pride and opportunity.
