The session began with the solemn reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India, setting the constitutional tone for the discussion. Distinguished resource persons elaborated on the historical origin of caste and the continuing denial of social justice to marginalised communities in the present context. The students actively engaged in the discussion by raising thoughtful and critical questions, to which the resource persons responded with clarity. The speakers encouraged the students to read Dr. B.R.
